What a great perspective from the trenches of product management. Marty Cagan discusses how important it is to get the product choices correct through quick pivoting and iteration in his book Inspired. I'm looking forward to seeing the next article on this substack for guidance on how to measure effectiveness during this phase of delivery.

Thanks Michael. The gist of it is how you measure a period that is inherently creative. What data can you collect that are valid and actionable? I’ll talk about some experimentation I’ve done and linking this work with OKRs.

SVPG do great work educating people and I’m a big fan. I’ve not participated directly, but I’ve had a peek at their workshop materials and have heard really good things.
